What a Small Business Website Actually Costs in Las Vegas (2026)
Honest numbers on what a small business website really costs in Las Vegas, from DIY builders to agency redesigns, plus how to decide which one you actually need.
Every week a small business owner in Las Vegas asks me the same question: "How much should I pay for a website?" And every week I have to give them the same annoying answer: it depends.
So let's break it down with actual numbers — the kind nobody on the agency sales call wants to give you up front.
The 3 ways most Las Vegas businesses get a website
Almost every small business website built in Vegas in 2026 falls into one of three buckets: DIY, freelancer, or full agency. The price difference between them is wider than most owners realize, and the right one for you depends on what your website actually needs to do.
1. DIY builders (Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy, Shopify)
Typical cost: $15–$50/month, plus your time.
DIY builders are perfect if you need a brochure-style site for a brand-new business with very limited budget. You'll get a working, mobile-responsive website in a weekend if you're decent with computers. The tradeoff: it'll look like a template, you'll spend 20+ hours on it, and it almost certainly won't rank on Google for anything competitive.
Good for: brand-new businesses validating an idea, hobbyists, low-stakes service businesses where most leads come from word of mouth.
2. Freelancer-built custom site
Typical cost: $2,500–$8,000 one-time, with optional monthly hosting and maintenance ($50–$200/month).
A freelancer (like me) builds you something fully custom — your brand, your services, your conversion goals — usually in 3 to 6 weeks. You get something that looks like a real brand, ranks reasonably on Google, and converts visitors into calls and form submissions. You're paying for strategy, not just pixels.
Good for: established small businesses, restaurants, med spas, contractors, law and accounting practices, service businesses where the website is the front door of the business.
3. Full agency redesign
Typical cost: $15,000–$60,000+ one-time, with monthly retainers ($1,500–$5,000/month).
Agencies bring teams: a strategist, a designer, a developer, a copywriter, a project manager. You'll pay for all of them whether you need them or not. The website will be excellent. So will the invoice. If you have a 15-location business, complex integrations, or a brand with serious revenue on the line, this might be the right call.
Good for: multi-location businesses, franchises, businesses doing $5M+/year in revenue where a tenth of a percent in conversion lift is worth real money.
Where most Vegas small businesses get burned
The most common mistake I see is paying agency prices for a freelancer's scope. A solo restaurant owner doesn't need a six-figure rebuild. A med spa doesn't need a $40k website. You need something fast, beautiful, mobile-optimized, and built to convert — and that almost always lands in the freelancer tier.
The second most common mistake is paying nothing for a website that costs you customers every month. A free DIY site that loads in 6 seconds, has no SEO structure, and doesn't have a click-to-call button on mobile is costing you more than a real website would.
How to pick the right tier for you
- If most of your customers find you on Google → invest in something custom with real SEO foundations
- If your average customer is worth less than $50 → DIY might be fine
- If your average customer is worth $500+ → you're losing money every month without a real site
- If you have multiple locations or franchises → agency tier likely makes sense
How I price websites for Las Vegas small businesses
I price every project custom. The first thing I do on a strategy call is figure out which tier you actually need — and sometimes I'll tell you a freelancer (me or someone else) is overkill and you'd be better off on Squarespace for now. I'd rather lose a small project and earn your trust than sell you something you don't need.
