Google Ads for Restaurants · Nationwide

    Google Ads for restaurants
    that fill tables.

People search for somewhere to eat right before they decide. I build Google Ads campaigns for restaurants across the US that show up for those hungry, ready-now searches — and send people to reservations, orders and directions.

    Sound familiar?

If any of these hit home, you're in the right place.

Chains and delivery apps take the top spots when people search near you
You tried boosting posts but couldn't tell if anyone actually came in
Your weeknights are slow while weekends are packed
You're paying delivery app commissions on customers who could order direct
You have no time to learn ad platforms between running a kitchen

Why Google Ads works differently for restaurants

Restaurant searches are some of the most immediate on Google. Someone types 'tacos near me' or 'brunch open now' and decides in minutes. That makes the details matter: showing ads only within a sensible distance, only during hours when you can seat or deliver, and only on phones when that's where decisions happen.

It also means the goal isn't always a form fill. For a restaurant, a good outcome might be a reservation, a direct online order, a tap to call or a tap for directions. I set up tracking around the actions that matter for your restaurant, so we can see which searches and ads actually bring people in.

    How I build restaurant campaigns

I start with your goals. Do you want to fill slower nights, grow catering and private events, push direct ordering instead of delivery apps, or promote a new location? Each one calls for different campaigns and keywords.

Then I set tight location targeting around your restaurant, schedule ads around your service hours, and build keyword groups around cuisine, dishes, occasions and intent ('open now', 'reservations', 'private dining'). Ads point to the right place for each search: your menu, reservation page or ordering link. I also connect your Google Business Profile so location details and directions show with your ads.

Once live, I watch search terms closely. Restaurant keywords attract a lot of irrelevant searches — recipes, jobs, other businesses with similar names — and blocking those quickly protects your budget.

    Helpful extras for restaurants

Catering and private events are often worth their own campaign because the searches and the value of each enquiry are very different from a regular dinner booking. Seasonal menus, holidays and local events are also good moments to adjust campaigns.

If your menu page is slow or hard to read on a phone, ads will struggle. The free website check is a quick way to spot problems. For the bigger picture, see my Google Ads management service, or start with a Google Ads audit if you already run ads.

Why work with a freelancer instead of an agency?

You talk to the person actually building and managing your campaigns — me — not an account rep
Ad spend is paid directly to Google from your own account. I never mark it up
You own your Google Ads account, your data and your landing pages, always
No long-term lock-in contracts. I earn your business month to month
Custom quotes based on your goals and budget — not one-size-fits-all packages
Remote by design: I work with small businesses anywhere in the United States

    Frequently asked questions

Do Google Ads work for independent restaurants?

They can, especially for high-intent searches like 'near me', 'open now', catering and private events. On our first call I'll give you an honest take on where ads make sense for your restaurant.

Can you help me get more direct orders instead of delivery app orders?

Yes. I can send ad traffic to your own ordering page and track those orders, so you can see what ads contribute.

How do you price restaurant campaigns?

Every restaurant gets a custom quote based on goals and scope. Ad spend is paid directly to Google with no markup.

I'm not in Las Vegas — can you still help?

Yes. I work remotely with restaurants anywhere in the US.

Should I run catering ads separately?

Usually, yes. Catering searches and enquiries are very different from dinner reservations, so they work better in their own campaign.

Put your restaurant in front of hungry searchers.

Tell me about your restaurant and what you want more of — reservations, orders, catering or events. I'll come back with an honest plan and a custom quote.
